Kauai was the first Hawaiian island we visited. It was very green and was less touristed than the other islands. This made for a very relaxing stay. Originally we planned on taking a couple hikes while on the island, but since Jamie's foot was still healing up from the previous month's mishap we decided to take is easy and spend the extra time on the beaches.
