Saguaro National Park is unique in that it's split into two parks on opposite sides of Tucson Arizona. We started with the western park which had a higher concentration of the fork like saguaro cacti. Despite being summer in Arizona it was only in the upper 90s so we were able to do two short hikes among the cacti. There were several types of cacti to see making the hike feel like we were in a giant cactus garden (which we were). We then went to the eastern park which was larger and more mountainous. We didn't do any hikes, but there was plenty to see from the car via the Cactus Forest Loop drive.
