This year's PAX was a return to the norm after last year's pandemic reduced convention. We still had to wear masks and show proof of vaccination (which was a good thing), but expo hall was back to being filled with exhibitors. Both Microsoft and Sony were suspiciously absent, but other large companies like Nintendo and Bandai Namco were present. I cycled through the daughters over the four days so everyone got in at least two days each. We did all the usual activities including panels, pc/console freeplay, the Omegathon, a concert and live D&D with Acquisitions Incorporated. Also we were able play more demos than normal as the lines were shorter than previous PAXes. We missed out on the tournaments and there weren't any child friendly PAX parties to attend. Also VR freeplay continued to be absent, most likely due to the lingering pandemic.
