Back in 2005 I declared the ski season as the worst ever. Ten years later the 2014-2015 season probably bested (or worsted) it. The predictions for a warm and dry winter came true and none of the ski areas really got into full operations. The Summit probably should have never opened, but they remained opened under questionable conditions for almost two months. Rokka Ski School, where I help and Rachel and Lily ski, only had one day of lessons. Fortunately it was a nice day and the snow, though limited, was decent to ski on. Both girls had a good time. Too bad they couldn't go up more days. Hopefully next season isn't a repeat.
