Chelan Trip - North Cascades

It had been three years since our entire family had spent a summer in Chelan and even longer since we'd done so via the North Cascades. Jamie's parents were kind enough to invite us to stay at their time share this year so we were off to spend a week in the sun at the Lake. On the way over we planned to camp two nights in the North Cascades, but rain during the first night made us decide to pack up a day early. We headed over the cloud covered passes and down to Winthrop where we spent the night. This gave us a little more time to explore the western themed town though the weather there wasn't much better.
