Scenic Beach Camping

Our third camping trip of the summer was at Scenic Beach which lies on the east side of Hood Canal next to the town of Seabeck. I wasn't able to make it the first night due to work, but fortunately Jamie's parents were there to help her wrangle the three girls. When I arrived the next day we took the kids to the rocky beach. It was a hot day so it was refreshing to play in the cool water. With views of The Brothers and a few other Olympic peaks the beach could be considered scenic though I think many other beaches better deserve the name "Scenic". Though beach was not exceptional the camp grounds were. The camp sites were clean, private and well maintained. It was perhaps the nicest campground we've been to. The only negative of the trip was when Lily wandered away while we were at the bathroom. She was soon found, but only after Jamie and I got into a brief panic.
