Despite the lack of a view there was still plenty of fresh snow to play in. It was Rachel's first snowshoe on her own. We put her in her new snowshoes and she took off like an expert, but she got tired out quickly. It was Lily's first hiking trip and like Rachel at her age she slept most of the time.
We headed to Mazama Ridge, but that was unrealistic goal with a three year old so we settled for a hike to a view of Mazama Ridge instead. All and all it was a good trip and it was nice to finally get the entire family enjoying the outdoors again.
