Franklin Falls Hike
The Franklin Falls trail near Snoqualmie Pass isn't much of a hike. It's only
a mile long and though it ends at a nice
waterfall, I-90 looms overhead to almost cancel out the tranquility. Still it was a perfect
hike for a toddler and puppy. It was Rachel's first hike on her own (mostly) and she had lots
of fun running along the trail, crossing bridges, taking in views of Denny Creek and playing
with Diane and John's new puppy Udon. Udon also did well on his first hike, becoming a bit
of a soggy doggy when he got a chance to step in the creek. These youngsters made a good
start of becoming true hiking enthusiasts.
