Olympic Coast Trip - Exploring
We woke the next morning and continued hiking northward, further exploring the coast. We hiked for a mile or two in the coastal
wilderness. Some areas were impossible to hike around due to the tide. I spent a considerable
amount of time trying to figure a way around a cliff by making timed steps amongst slippery stones as the waves
pulled back. I eventually gave up and then noticed a trail up and around the cliff. On the other side I found
a rope to climb down which revealed more unihabited beach. We had to return at this point so we could
pack up camp and head back before the tide could come in and cut off our way out.
