The Honeymoon - Maui

Molokini Snorkel Cruise

On our third day in Maui we sailed on the Four Winds, a modern 53-foot catamaran, to the island of Molokini. The island is a partially sunken crater and is a great site for snorkeling. We had a fun time both on the boat and in the water. At the crater we snorkeled for a couple hours and saw all kinds of beautiful fish. I swam all around the area snapping pictures with our disposable underwater camera. Jamie, new to snorkeling, was happy enough just staying up top along with her boogie board.

On the boat we were treated to a wonderful barbeque lunch served by the friendly crew members. The boat also had a glass bottom for viewing the underwater sea life. Not to mention the slide. On our way back we passed through an area frequented by sea turtles. We saw several turtles and then headed back to the docks.
