For our last adventure together, Jamie and I took a wine tasting tour of the Hunter Valley wine country. It is in a rural area North of Sydney. We went to six different wineries ranging from the large Mount Pleasant Vineyard to the small Jackson Hill Vineyard that is operated by a husband and wife team. We sampled all kinds of wine and even cheese at one winery. Our favorite wines were the Peppercorn Shiraz at the Oakvale Winery and the Verdelho at the Allandale Winery. In the end, we returned with six bottles of wine to pack for the flight back home.
