Ski School

After a terrible ski season last year things could only get better. Even though the 2015/2016 season was an El Niño year the mountains still got in a good early season base that lasted throughout the season. Most of our skiing was during Rokka ski school at The Summit at Snoqualmie Pass. Despite only skiing once last year both Rachel and Lily were able to pick up from where they left off. Jamie again came up for some free skiing while the kids were in class. I got to teach a class for the first time which was a rewarding experience. The kids went from barely standing on skis to making multip le runs by the end of the sixth class. The weather was decent except for the last day of class when it rained. Rachel an d Lily also participated in Rokka race day where they both made it down the course without falling. It was a good season overall and we look forward to next year when Vivian will join the family on the slopes.
