Penny Arcade Expo

This year I acquired a pair of passes for all four days at PAX. Rachel joined me for three days and Lily and my nephew Jordan joined for a half day. I wasn't interested in any upcoming games this time to I spent more time at panels and the free play areas instead of the expo hall.

The panels weren't as interesting as the Comicon panels, but some were fun including a Q&A session with the Penny Arcade creators, a talk with voice actors (including Ellen McLain, the voice of GLaDOS from Portal) and a challenging quiz show on video games.

Rachel and I tried out PC freeplay for the first time and had lots of fun playing Portal 2 together. We also enjoyed a 30 minute demo session with the Vive VR which was worth the two hour wait.
