Kalaloch Camping

We had such a great time last fall at Kalaloch we reserved a site early in the year for July with Jamie's parents. Though the cool temperatures and fog made it seem far from summer, we still had fun. Rachel and Lily enjoyed the camp site which had a huge forest area to play in, Brad enjoyed using all his new camp gizmos and all of us enjoyed exploring the beach. We went out one morning when the tide was exceptionally low and to check out tide pools containing various starfish and anemones. Later on we went to a very old and huge cedar tree which I enjoyed climbing. In the evenings we had great meals finished off with roasted marshmallows around the fire. Rachel also got to learn about the wildlife during the night time ranger chats. Yet again we had another wonderful trip which we hope to repeat annualy.
