Goat Falls Hike
At the end of August Julie, Jordan, Rachel and I made an attempt to hike Clear West Peak
near Greenwater off of highway 410. We found the bridge to the trailhead washed out so we
had to change our plans. Further down the highway we found another hike to Goat Falls. The
trail was short, but it was a good one for Rachel to hike on her own. The trail started
amongst private cabins and then followed Goat Creek through the wilderness to Goat Falls. The falls
weren't that amazing, but the hike along the creek was nice. It rained most of the time which
seems to be the common theme for this summer's hikes. Even with the cold rain Rachel had a good time
on the hike.
