Point Defiance Zoo
After scraping an overly ambitious one day trip to Hurricane Ridge we found ourselves with a free Sunday as a family. We
decided to go to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma. Other than going to their holiday light show neither Jamie nor I had been
to the zoo so it was a new experience for us all. Though the zoo was small it contained some interesting animals not often found
in other zoos. It was hard to tell which animal Rachel like most. She was excited by the elephant and walruses and she had fun
roaring back at the tiger.
