Twin Falls Hike

For our first hike of the year we planned to do an easy hike up Little Si, but when we got there not only was the parking lot full, but the incoming road was full of parked cars a half mile out. A bit discouraged we looked through our book and found another easy hike just few miles up I-90. The Twin Falls trail was also crowded with people, but it made for a very enjoyable experience for Rachel. She loved seeing all the other kids and dogs tramping up and down the trail. For an I-90 corridor hike, Twin Falls wasn't too bad. We got to see big old growth trees, the Snoqualmie River and of course two waterfalls. A good view of the upper falls could bee seen from a large bridge, but the lower falls, seen from a side trail, was much more impressive. I usually dismiss the easier hikes, but this one was definitely fun for the whole family.
