Mason Lake Hike

Two years ago Jamie and I hiked up to Mason Lake near Snoqualmie Pass. It was a fairly easy hike so we decided to go there again for Rachel's first hike. We were joined by Matt and Tom and his daughter Sophie. Carrying the children up made for a challenging hike for both Tom and I. Also, the 90 degree weather didn't help either. We were all very happy to reach the lake and take a much needed break. Both Rachel and Sophie did very good on the hike, Rachel even slept half the way. Though it was challenging I found it easier to carry a child on a hike than pulling them along on a bike ride.
