Victoria Trip

Two years ago we had a fun Christmas time visit to Victoria and we decided to repeat the experience. We arrived via the Victoria Clipper ferry and stayed at the elegant Empress hotel. Once again we had the hotel's refined and pricey high tea with tasty finger food. In the evening we went to Buchart Gardens to see their wonderful Christmas light display. For twelve years they have been adding a single display for each of the twelve days of Christmas. They finished the collection this year with Twelve Drummers Drumming. The next day we explored downtown Victoria, including a couple appropriate Christmas shops. We also had some yummy Hors Devours at a tapas restaurant. In the evening we took the Victoria Clipper back to Seattle.
