Mason Lake Hike

For our final hike before our Enchantments hike we headed Mason Lake, just west of Snoqualmie Pass. The trail to the lake had been recently renovated and was dedicated to the late Ira Spring who wrote many Washington hike guidebooks, including the one we use for our trips. The trail switched back through a boulder field which was filled with mountain flowers. The trail peaked and then dropped a bit down to the lake. At 6 miles round trip with 2300' gain the hike was quite pleasant.

Waterfall near the beginning of the trail.
