Rachel Lake Hike

For our first hike of the summer we headed over Snoqualmie Pass to hike to Rachel Lake near Kachess Lake. The trail was enjoyable as we hiked along a creek which gave way to various water falls. Unfortunately the last mile climbed over a 1000 feet which make the hike a lot more work. At the end of the trail we were greeted with a beautiful view of Rachel Lake. We paused to have our lunch overlooking the lake, but the mosquitos were out in full force that day. We spent only a brief time at the lake before heading back.
