Paris - City Sights

Paris is David's favorite to city to visit and, after our stay, it became Jamie's favorite as well. At five days, we spent more time in this city than in any other during our trip. Even so, we left Paris knowing that there was so much more to see. Still, we saw quite a bit, more than can be documented here. We saw great museums, beautiful parks, amazing churches and impressive monuments. We had long and wonderful sidewalk dinners at cafes and a picnic lunch in the park. We found the French to be the most polite and welcoming people we encountered on our trip, despite the bad rep they were getting in the American media due to the French opposition to the war in Iraq. We loved our time in Paris and long for and look forward to a return trip.
