Bay Area Trip - Day 3

On our third day poor Marina had to work. So it was just Tom, Jamie and I to enjoy the day. We headed back up the coast to San Francisco. On the way we stopped at Venice Beach at Half Moon Bay to enjoy the sand and surf. We continued further up Highway 101 to the edge of the San Francisco Bay. We took a short hike along the cliffs to finally get a fog free glimpse of the bridge.

After our hike and a quick driving tour of the ritzy neighborhood of the rich and famous, we drove to the top of Twin Peaks for a panoramic, and windy, view of the entire city. The drive to Twin Peaks, minus a sufficient road map, gave us another good driving tour of San Francisco neighborhoods. After taking in the view at Twin Peaks, we headed downtown to meet up with Marina for a yummy dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. We took a quick walk through Chinatown while we waited for her to join us. Finally, our vacation had come to an end. Tom drove us back to the airport for a late flight home and happy memories from the trip.
