Lookout Mountain Scramble

In May I did a brutal scramble up Lookout Mountain with the Mountaineers. After doing relatively easy snowshoe trips in the winter I was challenged by this difficult five mile 4500 foot elevation hike. Half of the hike was through deep snow where we had to make our own trail. At the summit we reached the lookout, but no view was to be found. In any case a summit without a view is still a summit.
