In April I did the last the last of the rock climbing field trips
for the Mountaineers basic climbing course. The trip was at Mount
Erie near Anacortes and I got to practice climbing, belaying and rappeling on
real rock for the first time in the class. This day was rare for the field
trips since it was neither raining or snowing.
The first picture is looking southwest to the Olympic mountains. The second picture looks west to the San Juan islands. |
