We made a lunch break at a secondary canyon called North Canyon. We hiked about a mile into this very beautiful canyon. Water just trickles through it now, but a river must have gone through it at one time. The sides were carved in curves and got narrower as we went further in.
Our camp is about thirty miles down the river. The rain is trying to come down, but the wind has stopped. I'm having a good time, but hopefully the weather will get better.
